Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is an English singer and songwriter who began her musical career as the lead singer of the band Theaudience. After they disbanded in 1999, Ellis-Bextor began her solo career and released her debut album, Read My Lips, in 2001. The album featured her hit song "Murder on the Dancefloor." Since then, she has released several albums, with her most recent, Hana, being released in June 2023. Most recently, "Murder on the Dancefloor" was featured in the 2023 film Saltburn.
