RuPaul on Covering Vanity Fair, Hosting SNL and Being the Queen of Drag
RuPaul is an Emmy-winning drag queen and entertainer most known for producing and hosting the reality competition show RuPaul's Drag Race since 2009. In 1993, he debuted his studio album Supermodel of the World, which included the popular dance club single "Supermodel (You Better Work)." RuPaul has published three books and 14 studio albums, and has appeared in numerous film and TV shows, including The Brady Bunch Movie, Broad City, Grace and Frankie and Girlboss. In addition to winning six Primetime Emmy Awards for RuPaul's Drag Race, the show has spawned several spin-offs and international versions. In 2020, RuPaul co-created and starred in the Netflix television series AJ and the Queen. He can next be seen as the host of Saturday Night Live in February 2020.
