Robert Plant is a singer, songwriter and former frontman of Led Zeppelin who co-wrote the band's iconic hit "Stairway to Heaven." Following Led Zeppelin's dissolution, Plant embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album, Pictures at Eleven, in 1982. Over the years, Plant has collaborated with several musicians, including Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page to form Plant and Page during the mid-1990s. He has also performed as part of the Honeydrippers, Strange Sensation and Band of Joy, and released Raising Stand with bluegrass star Allison Krauss in 2007. The musician's tenth solo album, lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, was recorded with backing band The Sensational Space Shifters and was released in September.
