Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band is a musical group led by Paul Shaffer. They are best known for being the in-house band for Late Night with David Letterman and Late Show with David Letterman. The band also played as the official house band for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies from 1986 through 2015. In 2017, the band released a self-titled album followed by a tour. Additionally, in 2018, the band played for the Grammy Awards ceremony.
