Nathan Lane is an Emmy Award- and Tony Award-winning actor known for his stage and screen work. He won his first Tony in 1996 for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. His second Tony came from his highly successful collaboration with Matthew Broderick in The Producers. Lane won his Emmy in 2022 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in Only Murders in the Building. Lane's notable films include The Birdcage, Mousehunt and The Lion King, in which he voiced Timon. Additionally, he had a recurring role on Modern Family and starred on FX's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Lane also starred on Broadway in Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus in 2019. Lane can currently be seen in the play Pictures from Home, which is running at Studio 54 on Broadway.
