Michael McDonald is a five-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and musician. His more than 40-year career began in 1974 when McDonald sang with Steely Dan before joining The Doobie Brothers in 1976. Since going solo in 1982, McDonald has released nine albums, most recently 2017's Wide Open. In 2020, it was announced he would be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his role in The Doobie Brothers.
