Michael Keaton on Getting Recognized as Batman and His Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Deal with Tim Burton

Actor Michael Keaton is best known for starring in a series of comedic films throughout the 1980s, including 1982's Night Shift, 1983's Mr. Mom and 1988's Beetlejuice. A year later, he took on the iconic role of Batman in director Tim Burton's Batman and its 1992 sequel, Batman Returns. Keaton has worked steadily since then but enjoyed a career resurgence in 2014 when, after starring in director Alejandro González Iñárritu's Birdman, he won a Golden Globe and scored nominations for a SAG Award and an Oscar for his performance. Keaton also starred in The Protégé playing Rembrandt, which came out in August 2021. He can next be seen starring in the film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which releases in theaters in September 2024.
