Michael Che is an Emmy-nominated comedian, writer and co-anchor of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update segment. He also serves as one of the show's head writers. Prior to joining SNL, Che was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His first hourlong comedy special, Michael Che Matters, premiered on Netflix in 2016. In 2018, Che hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards with Colin Jost and later teamed up with Jost for an episode of WWE Raw. In 2021, Che starred in the HBO Max comedy series titled That Damn Michael Che.
