Melissa McCarthy

Melissa McCarthy is an Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated actress. She starred as Sookie St. James on Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2007 before joining the CBS sitcom Mike & Molly in 2010. McCarthy won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series a year later and scored two more nominations during the show's run. Her big-screen breakout came with 2011's Bridesmaids, for which she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. McCarthy can next be seen starring in the series God's Favorite Idiot, which premieres on Netflix in June 2022.
