Melanie "Mel B" Brown remains best known as a member of British girl group the Spice Girls, in which she was known as Scary Spice. The group released two albums at the height of their fame, 1997's Spice and Spice World, before calling it quits. A year later, Mel B kicked off her solo career with the song "I Want You Back" featuring Missy Elliott. In addition to performing, Mel B has served as a judge on reality series such as The X Factor U.K. and NBC's America's Got Talent.
