Matt Berninger

Matt Berninger is an American singer and songwriter best known as the founder and frontman for The National. The band caught their big break with the 2010 album High Violet. Between albums with The National, Berninger explored his music style and released his first-ever solo album titled Serpentine Prison in October 2020. His second solo album, Get Sunk, releases in May 2025.
