Lupita Nyong'o is an international filmmaker and actress known for her Academy Award-winning role as Patsey in 12 Years a Slave and her role as Nakia in Black Panther. Nyong'o is also the first Kenyan actress to be nominated for and to win an Academy Award. She is famous for her roles on MTV's TV series Shuga and in the films Non-Stop, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens and The Jungle Book. Nyong'o has also recently starred in Little Monsters, Us and The 355. Nyong'o can next be seen starring in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will release in November 2022.
