She has also starred in other films, such as The Trouble with the Truth, Howard the Duck and Red Dawn. Thompson has also appeared across various television series, including Jane Doe, Caroline in the City and Switched at Birth. Her new Lifetime movie, The Disappearance of Cari Farver, will premiere in October 2022.
