Lang Lang is a Chinese concert pianist. He rose to fame after subbing in for an injured pianist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Lang is the first Chinese pianist to be engaged by the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic orchestras. He has toured around the world, with some of his most famous performances including a White House state dinner, Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Lang's latest album, Saint-Saëns, is out now.
