Mikayla Simpson, better known as Koffee, is a Jamaican “sing-jay-guitarist” known for her socially conscious music. Her breakout single “Legend,” a tribute to Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt, became a viral hit on Instagram in 2017. Koffee’s debut EP, Rapture, was released in March 2019. Her single “Toast” is featured in Jordan Peele’s horror film Us. Koffee became the youngest artist to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums chart and the first reggae artist to be featured in Apple’s Up Next Live series. Koffee is currently working on a highly anticipated full-length album set to release in early 2020.
