Kate McKinnon is an Emmy Award-winning actress known for being a cast member on Saturday Night Live. She starred on the sketch comedy series since 2012, scoring Emmy nominations and two wins before wrapping up her final season in 2022. On the big screen, McKinnon has appeared in the films Sisters, Ghostbusters, Office Christmas Party, The Spy Who Dumped Me, Bombshell and Barbie. McKinnon also starred in the hit Peacock series Joe vs. Carole and voiced Lulu in DC League of Super-Pets. McKinnon wrote her debut novel The Millicent Quibb School of Etiquette for Young Ladies of Mad Science in October 2024. Her second novel, Secrets of the Purple Pearl, goes on sale September 30.
