Chef José Andrés' World Central Kitchen Is Helping Feed People Around the World

José Andrés is a Spanish-American chef who owns restaurants in Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; Las Vegas; South Beach, Florida; Chicago; New York City; and the Bahamas. Andrés is also the founder of the nonprofit organization World Central Kitchen, which began in response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010. In March 2020, World Central Kitchen began their #ChefsForAmerica initiative in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization's latest initiatives are emergency food relief programs for Ukraine and Puerto Rico.
