Chef José Andrés

José Andrés is a Spanish-American chef who owns restaurants in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York City, the Bahamas and South Beach, Florida. Andrés is also the founder of the nonprofit organization World Central Kitchen, which began in response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010. In March 2020, World Central Kitchen began their #ChefsForAmerica initiative in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization’s latest initiatives are emergency food relief programs for Ukraine and Puerto Rico. Andrés’ latest project is his Yes, Chef! series on NBC, which he co-hosts with Martha Stewart.
