James Cameron Talks Avatar Sequels and Secrets of the Whales

James Cameron is the Academy Award-winning writer and director of Avatar and Titanic. He kicked off his career with 1984's Terminator, which he wrote and directed. The film's sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, followed in 1991. In between, Cameron helmed 1986's Aliens, a sequel to Ridley Scott's Alien, and 1989's The Abyss. Cameron scored a major blockbuster with 1997's Titanic, which earned him the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Film Editing. It became the highest-grossing film of all time until the release of his next film, 2009's Avatar. His latest film, Avatar 2, is expected to hit theaters in December of 2022.
