Ira Glass

Ira Glass is the host and executive producer of radio show This American Life. He began working in public radio at the age of 19 when he interned at NPR's headquarters in Washington, D.C. Over the next 17 years, Glass worked on almost every NPR news show in some capacity, serving as newscast writer, editor, producer and reporter, among other titles. He started This American Life in 1995.
