Dick Cavett

Dick Cavett is an Emmy Award-winning talk show host and author. He is best known for hosting The Dick Cavett Show, which aired on ABC from 1968 to 1975 and on public television from 1977 to 1982. He has also authored four books and served as a contributing blogger for The New York Times. Cavett's most recent book, Brief Encounters: Conversations, Magic Moments, and Assorted Hijinks, was published in October 2014.
