Dan Aykroyd


Dan Aykroyd is a comedian and actor best known for his starring roles in The Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters. He first came to prominence as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1975 to 1979. With fellow SNL alum John Belushi, Aykroyd brought The Blues Brothers to the big screen in 1980. Four years later, he co-created, co-wrote and starred in Ghostbusters alongside Bill Murray and Harold Ramis. Ghostbusters II was released in 1989, the same year Aykroyd received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Driving Miss Daisy. Most recently, Aykroyd stars in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which is set to be released in March 2024.
