Cynthia Erivo is an Emmy-, Grammy- and Tony-winning English actress, singer and songwriter. She started her career in the stage production of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and went on to do many more musicals, films and television shows. In the U.S., she is most famous for playing Harriet Tubman in Harriet. She has also starred in Widows, Bad Times at the El Royale and Chewing Gum. Her new album, Ch. 1 Vs. 1, comes out September 17.
