Chris Rock is a stand-up comedian and actor who got his start as a cast member on Saturday Night Live in 1990. He left the show three years later, briefly appearing on competing sketch comedy show In Living Color, before returning to stand-up. His partnership with HBO for five comedy specials, 1994's Big Ass Jokes, 1996's Bring the Pain, 1999's Bigger & Blacker, 2004's Never Scared and 2008's Kill the Messenger, along with his self-titled talk show, earned Rock four Emmy Awards. With his star on the rise, Rock broke into Hollywood, starring in Lethal Weapon 4, The Longest Yard, Grown Ups and voicing a character in the Madagascar animated film franchise. In 2014, he starred in, wrote and directed Top Five. Rock can also be seen starring in the fourth season of the hit series Fargo, which premiered September 2020. He can next be seen in Spiral: From the Book of Saw, in theaters May 13.
