Carrie Brownstein is a musician, writer, comedian and actress. She is the vocalist and guitarist for rock band Sleater-Kinney, whose eighth album, No Cities to Love, was released in 2015. In 2011, Brownstein and Fred Armisen created the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning comedy series Portlandia, on which Brownstein also stars and writes. The show's final season premieres January 18.
