Billy Porter

Actor, Activist, Musician

Billy Porter is an award-winning actor, singer, activist, author and director. In 2013, he won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his role in Kinky Boots. This portrayal also scored him a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. His more recent role on FX's Pose earned him a 2020 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a TV Series - Drama and the 2019 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He also starred in Cinderella, a musical romantic film, along with the TV series Central Park, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and Fairfax. He recently made his directorial debut with his film Anything's Possible on Amazon.
