Billy Porter

Actor, Activist, Musician

Billy Porter is an award-winning actor, singer, activist and author. In 2013, he won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in Kinky Boots. This portrayal also scored him a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. His more recent role on FX’s Pose earned him a 2020 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama and the 2019 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. His next project is the musical romantic comedy film Cinderella, set to premiere in February 2021.
