Bill Maher is a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator and host of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. Since the show's launch in 2003, it has been nominated for 21 Emmys. Maher previously hosted Politically Incorrect, which received 16 Emmy nominations during its nine-year run. In addition, Maher has starred in several stand-up specials, including the Emmy-nominated Bill Maher: Live from D.C. and Bill Maher …But I'm Not Wrong. He also scored a Tony nomination for his one-man Broadway show, Bill Maher: Victory Begins at Home. He can currently be seen on his comedy tour and the 22nd season of Real Time with Bill Maher. Maher’s book What This Comedian Said Will Shock You releases May 2024.
