Aretha Franklin is an 18-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter who is often dubbed the "Queen of Soul." Over her six-decade career, she has released more than 40 studio albums and charted 70 singles, 20 of which reached No. 1 on the U.S. R&B chart. Franklin's many classics include "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," "Chain of Fools," "I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You" and "Respect." In 1987, Franklin became the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and in 2005, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
