Angelina Jolie is an Academy Award-winning actress, director and humanitarian. The daughter of actor Jon Voight, she made her onscreen debut as a child in 1982's Lookin' to Get Out. Jolie scored her first leading role with 1995's Hackers, garnered critical acclaim for her performance in 1998's Gia and won an Oscar for 1999's Girl, Interrupted. She became an action star with 2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and its 2003 sequel, 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, 2008's Wanted and 2010's Salt. Jolie earned her second Oscar nomination for 2008's Changeling and made her directorial debut with 2011's In the Land of Blood and Honey. After starring in Maleficent earlier this year, the actress returns to the spotlight with her second film as a director, Unbroken.
