Adam Horovitz - a.k.a. Ad-Rock - is a musician and member of the Beastie Boys. Starting in 1986, the rap group released eight albums and sold more than 40 million albums, with their debut album, Licensed to Ill, recently attaining diamond status, or 10 million copies sold. Following the death of Adam Yauch in 2012, the Beastie Boys called it quits, but Horovitz and fellow surviving member Michael Diamond (Mike D) are working on a memoir. Horovitz's latest project is the film While We're Young, in which he co-stars with Ben Stiller.
