Laurie Metcalf on Her Emotional Return to the Roseanne Set
Actress Laurie Metcalf first came to fame portraying Jackie Harris on Roseanne from 1988 to 1997, scoring four Emmy nominations and three wins. She went on to star on Norm, The McCarthys and Getting On, as well as recur on Desperate Housewives and The Big Bang Theory. On the big screen, Metcalf has voiced Mrs. Davis in the Toy Story franchise and appeared in the films Uncle Buck, Internal Affairs, JFK, Scream 2 and Bulworth. In 2017, she starred in the Broadway play A Doll's House, Part 2, winning a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress, and in the film Lady Bird, scoring an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
