New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has held the state's highest office since 2010 and was reelected for his second term in 2013. He was previously elected a freeholder in Morris County and was named U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey in 2002. In 2015, Christie announced his candidacy for president. He withdrew from the race in February.
