HANNAH TETER

Contestant Bio

Hannah Teter is a three-time Olympian and two-time Olympic medalist in snowboarding, including winning gold at the 2006 Olympics. Over the course of her distinguished career, Teter is a seven-time X Games medalist, World Cup, Grand Prix champion and received an ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete. Well known for her charitable pursuits, Teter is the first and only Action Sports Global Ambassador for Special Olympics International and founded the nonprofit Hannah's Gold, which raises money for an impoverished village in Kenya.  

The Vermont native and Lake Tahoe, California, resident has been recognized by Sports Illustrated as one of the "50 Fittest Athletes" during her career and earned a VH1 Do Something Award in recognition of her charitable endeavors.
