Miracle On I-95: Maryland Couple & Bread Truck Driver Help Feed Hundreds Stranded In Winter Storm

Thousands were stranded on I-95 in Virginia this month after a major winter storm. Among the stranded were Maryland couple John and Casey, and Schmidt Baking Company truck driver, Ron. After being stuck on the road without food for more than a day, the couple got permission from the corporate owners of the truck, and approached Ron to help distribute bags of bread to the many stranded vehicles.
