To this day, Marlee Matlin is still the youngest person ever to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in "Children of a Lesser God" when she was 21 years old. At the 1986 Oscars, Marlee's 11 family members snuck backstage to celebrate her win while she was still interviewing with the press.
