Djimon Hounsou Is Proud To Play Black Superheroes In 'GOTG' & 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' For His Son


Djimon Hounsou dishes on the importance of representation in superhero movies, and reveals that he took on "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" to show his son that Black people can be superheroes, too. Djimon also opens up about having kids later in life, and shares why he thinks men should wait until their late 30s to become dads. Djimon also reminisces about his "magical" introduction to movies while growing up in the Republic of Benin, and shares how he's fighting against the negative connotations connected with voodoo in his documentary "In Search of Voodoo."
