Actor Bio

Travina Springer stars as Kylie on the new NBC drama "The Irrational."

Springer joined the Marvel Universe last year appearing in Disney+ and Marvel Studios' "Ms. Marvel." Previous credits include CBS' "Life in Pieces" and Paramount+'s "Strange Angel."

On the film side, Springer co-starred in "To Live and Die and Live," which premiered at 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Previously, she had a role in the Clint Eastwood-helmed "The Mule."

Over the years, she's been an active member of the Upright Citizens Brigade performing on Maude teams, Mama, Duchess and Old Flame at the UCBTheater LA. Springer was a performer in the 2017 CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase, and her stand-up was featured on the reboot of BET's "Comic View."

Springer attended Florida State University where she majored in communication studies. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting full-time. 

Fluent in American Sign Language, Springer has volunteered and worked as an ASL interpreter over the years, which supported her as a performer in the Los Angeles-based non-profit arts organization Deaf West Theatre, performing in their Equity regional tour for children titled "Shel Stories." She's also an active supporter of the organization Vigilant Love. Based in the Los Angeles Area, #VigilantLOVE creates spaces for connection and grassroots movement to protect the safety and justice of communities impacted by Islamophobia and violence.
