Mario and Alicia are childhood friends whose families are close. Mario is the grandson of Italian migrants, and Alicia was adopted by Tanaka, a Japanese man. When Alicia decides to study for two years in Japan, Mario realizes that what he feels for her is more than friendship. After their reunion, he has to deal with another obstacle, César, who tries to woo the girl with dark intentions.
