Actor Bio

Taylor Richardson portrays Kaitlin Mazzuchelli on NBC's new drama "Rise."  Richardson will next be seen in the film "Slender Man," opposite Joey King, and in "18 to Party." Previous films include "The Super," opposite Patrick John Flueger and Val Kilmer, and "Easy Living," which premiered at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival. Richardson co-starred with AnnaSophia Robb and Famke Janssen in "Jack of the Red Hearts," a film in which Richardson portrayed Glory, a young girl with autism. Richardson also played Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain's daughter in J.C. Chandor's "A Most Violent Year," and appeared in "Annie."   On stage, Richardson starred in MCC Theater's "Smokefall," opposite Zachary Quinto and Robin Tunney. She made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of "Annie," in which she originated the role of Duffy and later took over the title role. Her Off-Broadway and regional credits include Nelle in the Irish Repertory Theatre's "A Christmas Memory" and Susan Waverly in Virginia Repertory Theatre's "Irving Berlin's White Christmas."In Richardson's free time she enjoys singing, dancing, boxing, writing and playing the piano, guitar and ukulele.
