Actor Bio

Christina Kirk stars as Jackie, Van Wayne's (Alan Tudyk) beleaguered and long-suffering executive assistant, in the NBC comedy "Powerless."

Kirk began her career on the stage, having starred in "Well" on Broadway, "The Knickerbocker" at the Public Theater and, most recently, the Broadway production of "Clybourne Park," which won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2012.

On television Kirk has appeared on several highly acclaimed shows, including "The Newsroom," "Girls," "The Good Wife" and "Law & Order," as well as cult hits "Delocated" and "Childrens Hospital." More recently she starred in the NBC comedy "A to Z" as well as WGN's "Manhattan."

On the big screen, Kirk most recently starred in Ira Sach's "Love Is Strange" and Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock." She will next been seen in Karyn Kusama's "XX."
