Actor Bio

Geno Segers plays Dwayne on NBC's new comedy "Perfect Harmony."

Segers is an actor and voice artist with a background in entertainment and athletics. He was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and participated in football, wrestling and track during his high school and college years. A two-time state wrestling champion, he attended Western Carolina University on a football scholarship. Segers was an All-American defensive end, which later led to him playing for the American National Rugby League. He later moved to New Zealand, where he played for the Richmond Rovers Rugby League team.

Segers's first taste of entertainment began with a suggestion by a friend to try voice work. Possessing a naturally rich bass quality, he auditioned for voice-ads for a radio station in New Zealand. His voice attracted an agent's ear and led to Segers being cast in the role of Mufasa in an Australian stage production of "The Lion King."

Segers is known for the Disney Channel comedy series "Pair of Kings," where he plays Mason Makoola. Other roles include Chayton Littlestone in "Banshee" and the feature "Bone Tomahawk."

Other film and TV credits include "Game Over, Man!," "Brawl in Cell Block 99," "Elementary," "Castle," "Teen Wolf," "Longmire," "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Yellowstone."
