Biden administration plans to bus migrants to shelters deeper in the U.S.

DHS is planning to use federal funds to bus migrants to shelters in cities far from the border, beginning with Los Angeles, according to internal documents obtained by NBC News. A senior DHS official says it’s a contingency plan to alleviate overcrowding. Border agents are encountering migrant numbers that could surpass last year’s record high.
