Transplant’s fourth, action-packed season is officially coming to NBC — and the premiere date is closer than you think!

How to Watch

Watch Transplant Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock

The award-winning Canadian medical drama, which originated on Canada’s CTV, tells the story of brilliant emergency surgeon Dr. Bashir “Bash” Ahmed (Hamza Haq), who fled Syria with his younger sister during the Syrian civil war. Finding refuge in Canada, the series follows Bash as he rebuilds his medical career at Toronto's fictional York Memorial Hospital and all of the doctors, nurses, surgeons, and more he meets along the way.

The fourth season of Transplant is actually the show’s last, so you won’t want to miss how it all ends in the final 10 episodes. Joseph Kay, the series’ showrunner and executive producer, previously told CTV in a statement he always planned for Transplant to run for just four seasons

“I’d always intended a four-season window into Bashir’s life as he completes his medical residency for a second time, sets down roots in Canada, and learns to shed some of his past, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to be able to tell his complete story,” Kay explained. “This series is a labor of love for the great many of us who make it, and we’re excited for people to keep finding it for years to come.”
