"When I think of one Blind Audition that I was just shocked and amazed, and I still can’t, haven’t gotten over it, it would have to be Wendy Moten," Shelton said of the Season 21 runner-up, who performed "We Can Work It Out" by The Beatles. "It’s still one of the best singers—maybe the best singer that I’ve ever just sat and listened to in a room. It’s just unbelievable." Blake was the first Coach to turn for Moten and ultimately got her on his team. The two later performed a stunning duet of "Just a Fool" in the Season 21 finale, and have even discussed a potential collaboration.

During her Blind Audition, the Tennessee-native and 35-year music industry veteran received a four-chair turn and brought the entire Coaching panel to a standing ovation with her incredible talent. As she spoke with the Coaches, Moten revealed that she's worked with industry heavyweights like Julio Iglesias, Michael McDonald, Vince Gill, and John Oates.
