Twenty-something Reba McEntire is here to brighten up your Wednesday.

How to Watch

Watch Happyâs Place on NBC and Peacock.

Back on April 6, 2023, the Season 25-winning Coach of The Voice shared a gorgeous throwback photo that made fans do a double-take. The picture in question was from 1978 when McEntire was young, about 23. Unsurprisingly, the Happy's Place star looks absolutely stunning!

"A throwback to my first Fan Fair!💃🏼," McEntire wrote in a caption, referencing the annual popular CMA event.

Don't think fans didn't notice the expert way McEntire did her makeup that day. Her eyeshadow perfectly matches her natural red hair! Fans in the comments agreed, with one person speaking for all of us:

"Fine then fine now fine forever🔥," they wrote.

It just goes to show that McEntire can age (gracefully, of course) or even change her hairstyle and color, but she'll always have her trademark smile. Looking your best at 70 isn't just a necessity for McEntire, it's a mindset. These days, she keeps herself looking like she did decades earlier thanks to an impressive diet and commitment to fitness.

However, one part of her that McEntire takes extra special care of is her iconic vocals.

Here's how Reba McEntire preserves her legendary voice at 70

Even though McEntire feels like she's 35 — and looks it, too — the one thing she prioritizes above all is the health of her most prized possession: Her legendary voice! The star goes out of her way to protect her vocals at all times, and a big part of that is being aware of her comfortable vocal range and not jeopardizing it.

"It's a God-given gift, and I don't want to damage it and hurt it," she explained in a 2019 PEOPLE interview. "I don't holler. I don't scream. I was doing a voiceover not too long ago and they said, 'Okay, you gotta scream.' I said, 'I'll do it once, but if you want me to scream anymore, you gotta bring somebody else in.' It hurts your voice, makes you hoarse."

Before hitting the road, McEntire prepares by readying her voice a week in advance.

"I know the techniques to warm up," she continued. "I start warming up a week before [a show], sing to get my vocal cords more in shape. It's a muscle, so you just have to treat it just like that."
