Niall Horan Sweetly Gets Overwhelmed as an Arena of Fans Yell His Lyrics Verbatim

It was almost too much for The Voice Coach.

By Christopher Rudolph

Niall Horan looked like he was in "Heaven" during the first night of his new tour.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

This week, The Voice Coach kicked off his highly-anticipated live concert The Show in Belfast, and it appeared to be an emotional experience for the singer.

In a carousel posted to his Instagram, Horan shared photos and videos from the first night of the tour, capturing some memorable moments from the soldout show. The pictures showed Horan not only singing but also playing guitar and piano for the enthusiastic crowd, but one part of the night seemed to be almost too overwhelming for the international pop star.

A video clip on the seventh slide shows Horan coming to the edge of the stage while performing his hit single, "Heaven." With what sounds like the entire crowd singing every word verbatim, Horan tells them to "put their hands in the air," as they continue to shouting the catchy chorus at the top of their lungs. It all becomes too much for Horan as he turns away from the passionate audience, smiling while covering his face in disbelief.

Horan then turns back around to face his fans and continue the performance before the clip ends.

As one Instagram commentator wrote, "The crowd understood the assignment." They did indeed.

This isn't the first time Horan has posted a video of his emotional reaction to his fans' passionate sing-along. In November 2023, Horan shared some videos and photos online, reflecting on his year of playing music festivals around the world in support of his latest studio album, The Show.

"I’ve dreamt of playing festivals since I was a kid. Thank you to everyone from all around for world for coming out to see us play this year, when you are so spoiled for choice at the these things," Horan wrote in the Instagram post. "Live music is the best thing in the world and the festivals made me even more excited for tour next year. We are currently putting The Show together and I can’t wait for you to see what I have ready for ya."
