Chicago Med's latest guest actress Brittany Bradford isn't a stranger to a medical drama.
Actress Brittany Bradford is set to guest star on Chicago Med during the April 23 episode, bringing her dynamite presence to yet another NBC medical drama. That's right, New Amsterdam fans just might recognize her.
Bradford's graced many must-watch television series throughout the past few years. Some of her credits including Julia (2022-2023), The Watcher (2022), and 2023's Dead Ringers, all roles that demonstrated her hallmark charisma and versatility across genres. Other standout guest performances include her 2021 appearance in an episode of Fear the Walking Dead and her 2023 guest roles in Fire Country and The Gilded Age. Bradford has a talent for elevating the stakes in whatever television drama she joins, and we can't wait to see what intensity she brings to Gaffney. Bradford enters the One Chicago arena as the daughter of someone very close to Gaffney director Sharon Goodwin's (S. Epatha Merkerson) heart.

Bradford guest stars on Chicago Med Season 10, Episode 19 ("The Stories We Tell Ourselves") as Alex Washington, the grown-up daughter of Gaffney Oncology Chief Dr. Dennis Washington (John Earl Jelks). Goodwin and Dennis have been dating since Season 9 of Med, and after recently moving in together, the couple seem to be getting more serious. Chi-Hards are delighted by the late-life love story between Goodwin and Washington as they explore their romance. Still, like any budding romance, they're bound to encounter some complications occasionally.

Goodwin and Washington take their relationship to the next level in Med's April 23 episode after Goodwin meets Washington's daughter for the first time. If you think Bradford seems familiar, you may recognize her from another gripping medical drama, New Amsterdam. She appeared in Season 3's heartbreaking Episode 8 ("Catch"). Bradford guest-starred as Nia, a pregnant patient who was elated to meet her newborn child, only to experience issues during the delivery. After reporting numb limbs and getting testing done, Nia was devastated to receive a thyroid cancer diagnosis that complicated her happily ever after.
Bradford's 2021 appearance on New Amsterdam marked her second-ever television role following her debut in Love in NY.
