Michael Bublé & His Wife Fall Asleep Listening to Matthew McConaughey's Voice
The star's voice is the cure for Bublé's insomnia!
Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, have a rather unique routine in the bedroom.
During a memorable December 2019 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the current Coach of The Voice had to make somewhat of an awkward confession in front of Matthew McConaughey, who was sitting a few feet away from him!
After being put on the spot and asked, "Does Matthew know he plays a special part in your life?" Bublé just came out and revealed quite the secret — much to the chagrin of McConaughey himself! ("Can't wait to hear this," the Dallas Buyers Club star quipped.)
"Well, I mean… my wife and I sleep with you, almost every night," Bublé admitted, prompting McConaughey to break out in the biggest smile.
But it's not what you think, as Bublé explained further.
"Every night, there's an app called Calm, and I have insomnia, and he has the most beautiful voice, and I turn it on, and I just hear, 'Well hello, everybody, it's me, Matthew McConaughey, I'm gonna tell you a bedtime story,'" he said, almost blushing.

"Honest to God truth about it, my wife, who's from Argentina, she always goes like [in a hilarious Argentinian-McConaughey hybrid accent], 'You have the man talking again?' The man is talking in the bed again, Mike,'" Bublé revealed, cracking up everyone in the process.
So there you have it: Bublé and his wife make sure to listen to the smooth sounds of McConaughey's voice before they go to bed every night — that's something fans never would've guessed!
"I love this app," he continued. "It cost me 80 bucks — it was well worth it," he told McConaughey, who was near tears laughing.
(We wonder if McConaughey would return the favor if Bublé is ever recruited to the app?)

Michael Bublé and his wife recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary
After exchanging their wedding vows in three separate ceremonies in 2011, Bublé and Lopilato celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on March 31, 2025 — and both husband and wife took to social media to profess their love for each other.
"14 years ago today I married this incredible woman," Bublé captioned a sweet video of him and Lopilato on Instagram, calling his wife his "forever red carpet date."
"Love you forever!" his caption continued. "Happy anniversary."
Lopilato also followed suit, penning her own sweet tribute on Instagram.
"Today, we're celebrating 14 years of marriage," she wrote. "Mike, I thank God for bringing us together, for guiding us, for holding us through every step. Look at this beautiful family we've built. You're an amazing partner — kind, present, and full of love. But what moves me the most is that after all these years, we still have so much fun together. For everything we've lived and all that's yet to come… I love you with all my heart."
