"Having a moment of gratitude and reflection. The greatest journey is one of self-discovery," Hargitay wrote in the caption, adding multiple hashtags, including #SpringIsInTheAir, which is appropriate since she posted the pic on the first day of the new season. In a separate Instagram post, Hargitay shared another image to her 3.1 million followers, this time from inside the canyon. The image shows light pouring into the canyon from above, with the opening looking like the shape of a heart. "Love is where you find it 🧡🧡🧡," she wrote in the caption.

In addition to her being a canyon queen, the actress has also been facing her fears on her latest trip. Hargitay doesn't have an issue with snakes, but spiders are another story, as she revealed in a photo of herself holding a tarantula, writing in the caption, "So this happened… let me just say I was Terrified but I decided to #FeelTheFearAndDoItAnyway I have been scared of spiders and tarantulas my entire life. Never in 1 million years did I think I would be able to hold one AND I sat there and realized that I could overcome this perceived obstacle-that it was just pure fear, and there wasn’t any real danger there."

"Fear is something to be reckoned with. Fear is such an incredible teacher," she continued. "It was a very beautiful experience to overcome it, and be healed by nature and allow this little miraculous creature to feel safe in my hands as well. Feeling their little nails was just the sweetest thing. I NEVER thought I would say that. Feels like such a monumental moment of growth. P.S it fell asleep in my hand."
