What to know about "Never Too Much" by Luther Vandross

"Never Too Much" was Vandross' first single as a solo artist, and was released in 1981 off of his debut album of the same name. It reached the number 33 position on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 2021, Rolling Stone placed in on the 466th position on its "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list.

“Never Too Much [is] one of the most buoyant love songs of the Eighties, with Vandross’ high notes as delicate as soap bubbles," the outlet wrote.
