During a December 12 promo clip, Clarkson brought on Maluma as a guest, and he teased his interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show in his signature suave style. She couldn't help but look on in awe as she admired the handsome singer. And honestly, who could blame her?

"Hey, what's up people? Maluma here today at The Kelly Clarkson Show. We're having an incredible time. Thank you all so much for your love and support. Truly, we're having a great time. Kisses and hugs, always," he said in Spanish.

"Sí," Clarkson sheepishly added, while the crowd erupted in laughter.

"Face is saying SÍ," The Kelly Clarkson Show's official Instagram account captioned the post with an oh-so-relatable heart-eye emoji.

While discussing his 2023 Grammy nominated album Don Juan, Maluma opened up about his excitement for attending the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony.

"This is a big thing for me," he said. "Being nominated to the American Grammy's with an album that is in full Spanish. That's beautiful. I feel happy. I wanna perform. That's like a dream for me. To take a Grammy with me, and take it to Colombia, for my Latino community, that would be amazing."

"[Performing is] the best way to sell yourself to an audience that might now know you yet" Clarkson said.

"That's my favorite part. That's what I love the most," Maluma said. "Performing, having fun, seeing my friends, some colleagues. Let's see what happens it this awards [ceremony]. But if you guys are watching me right now, please vote for me," he said.

"I will vote for you! I'm a voter!" Clarkson said.

Don Juan is magical. It’s fun, modern and still very sentimental,” he told the outlet. “That’s’ the vibe that I’m living right now. It’s music to enjoy life. I’m so happy in my life right now. You have no idea. I feel so grateful every morning when I wake up that I just want to do positive things. That’s Don Juan. That’s the whole album At the end of the day, I’m the artist, and if I’m going to perform live, I want to have fun, and I want to perform the music I really like,” he said.

Maluma also said that he believes that his new project showcases how much his music has evolved. "Everything is sounding bigger, better,” he said of Don Juan.
